Matt and his team were absolutely brilliant. I'd been quoted £17k for a full rewire by a large firm. Matt was refreshingly skeptical, came straight out, fixed my failed immersion switch on the spot, then arranged an EICR that day.
Their conclusion: no rewire needed, just targeted work. Completed professionally over two days for around £1.6K-a fraction of the original quote and exactly what was actually needed.

I’ve used Matt and his team to do our electrics for the last 8 years now I think. He did a whole house rewire the first time, and since we moved he has done a few jobs to the current house including new sockets and light fittings in this last job. What impressed me at the beginning were the positive reviews on how clean and tidy they leave the job, and this is certainly true throughout our work we’ve had. Matt always has some good suggestions on how to make the works better too, such as feeding the TV cables into a cupboard so the boxes are out of sight and using sensors for a WC light.
Matt came round quickly when I requested a quote, provided a competitive quote, and completed the job with Josh on the day we wanted it done. Very happy with the work done, and how tidy everything was left. He also fixed another problem for me while he was there. Highly recomended

I have worked with this company, its Director and crew before. Their level of delivery and customer service never disappoints. For the most recent job on 21st July 2023, an ECIR had to be conducted to test the safety of the circuits etc ahead of installing multiple new heaters (in due course). Joe conducted the ECIR which took just under 3 hours and he was excellent. He showed patience and flexibility with me (as I was conducting panel interviews remotely with my work colleagues on that day). Joe's approach was thorough and thoughtful. At the end he talked me through everything he had done.

I have used this company before, they do excellent work and I would recommend them to anybody.
After being let down by several hob installers with confusing feedback to issues. The final step was to rectify the hidden decades old power supply and install a new power point. We contacted MK the afternoon before, confirmed access around 6pm and their team arrived on time the very next morning. We received no calls of 'issues or can't do the job', the job was simply completed without creating more headaches. Occupant was over the moon that the electrician arrived when they agreed to attend, very punctual and friction free experience.
I contacted Matt on the Tuesday, and had someone out by the next day who was able to go to collect parts and fix the issue on the same day. Couldn't have been more straightforward and helpful. Will definitely use again in the future.

The response time from reporting the problem to an on-site visit was very good. The work was carried out efficiently and after testing, a new modular, dimmable switch replaced an old one. A report of the problem was given verbally and recorded in the invoice which was helpful. Communication with the company at all times was excellent and the cost of the repair was very fair.

This is the second time I have employed Matt. 6 years ago he we-wired our new house. He was excellent and we did not have any issues so when we moved I went straight to him. He tested the system then replaced all the fixtures and fittings so they were fire retardant and have LEDs. This involved new sockets and chasing out. He also fitted the new cooker and a Ring 2 door alarm system. His team were just as good as last time. Extremely professional, keep you updated, turn up when they say, clean up and fill in building control documentation when needed. I wouldn't use anybody else.

Fantastic work, was really impressed at the detail and care of my home. Much care was taken to ensure the work looked great as well as being fit for purpose. Tidying up was excellent, I barely knew they had been.
The fan was an old, awkward to find model. Matt sourced it and fitted it without any problems, keeping me informed at all times.
We had saved up a list of jobs, that we needed completed before December. Matt quoted promptly and fitted us into his schedule, bringing a second electrician and completing all the work within the estimate of 2 days. Couldn't be faulted and we would happily go back to him if needed.
One of my mains smoke alarms went faulty which resulted in a constant siren that could not be silenced. I was abroad with work and had a frantic phone call from the family being driven mad by the constant noise. I phoned Matt at M K Veasey from France (4.30 pm on a Friday!) and he had somebody at my house within the hour. The fault was diagnosed and they even had an exact replacement on the van which was put in place of the faulty unit. Unbelievably good service, I would definitely recommend M K Veasey to anybody.
Matt assessed the level of work required accurately. Ceilings are at least 3 metres high so we needed professionals to come in do the work. They referred regularly back to their boss and kept me informed of the discussions and options. They worked in an organised way and cleared up as they went along. They were polite and efficient. Although no quote was given for the work, I was advised of the cost of the various options so the final invoice was not unexpected. I would recommend this company to my friends and family which should be good enough for anyone else.
Matt and his 2 guys were great they got the work done in 1 day. We had lights changed from spots to fittings. An outside socket put in and a new induction hob putting in which was tricky as the size was different so needed amending to sit it properly flush with the work surface also a new cooker hood. I have waited several months before leaving a review, all is great so I can wholeheartedly recommend Matt. The whole experience was a pleasure and I will use him again when I need more work done.

I have used Matt many a time for all of my properties as he is easy to get on with, respectful and will do anything to help. I was selling one of my properties and needed an electrical test as part of the deal to sell. Matt tested the property and then rectified all of the problems to make it up to scratch. Matt was very helpful as I needed the work done before a certain date and Matt fitted me in on a weekend.
About a year ago Matt and his team installed some garden lights which I can switch on and off via a remote, this time he added to the lights installing more for me. Matt and his team did a brilliant job of re-wiring my house during its complete renovation, over the course of around 5 months, fitting in visits around ongoing building works. We needed our light fixed in the bathroom, contacted Matt and he was able to come round the next day, and knew immediately what the problem was. He was only in for half an hour, sorted the light out, fixed it all and it's perfect! Highly recommend Matt, his work is quick and faultless.
Matt came round to view the work that needed to be done soon after we emailed him, and got back to us that same evening with a quote. We were happy with the explanation he gave of the work required and the price he quoted was reasonable too. Excellent work from both Matt and Harry in spite of the fitting of the fan presenting problems (requiring a bit extra work). Matt and his colleague were at my place on time. They got on with the garden wall lights, which were installed in no time and with no fuss. After that, Matt moved to the table lamp, which he fixed quickly as well. After that, he took a look at the landing wall light and he quickly established that the bulb (which is not a common one) had exploded. That was the reason why that light was not working. Matt carefully extracted the old bulb and replaced it with a new one (Luckily he had one of the same kind in his van). I am very happy with the work done and I would certainly recommend him.

The new RCD unit triggered faults that required rectification. This required extra work but finding these faults and correcting them was exactly why we call them in! We were kept informed at all times of the extra work needed. The courtesy and quality of work and their reasonable prices were refreshing as trying to find a good tradesman can become a hit and miss affair! The electrics are now completely safe with a certificate issued. In future, when we are in need of an good electrician, we will get back in touch with them again.

Matt is also a lovely guy and always very polite and I must say I'm very impressed by how tidy he kept the house during the job. I expected loads of dust around but he always cleaned up every day! He also helped us out when our alarm when nuts one evening and he came over quite late just to help us out with that which we are forever thankful for and he has also recommended good builders to help us out with other stuff around the house. To summarize, I would recommend Matt to anyone looking for help with electrics.

Matt arrived on time, was very polite and courteous. He quickly identified the issues caused by previous cowboy builders and went the extra mile to ensure the job was completed efficiently. Matt undertook the rewiring of a 750 sq foot flat that required removing old wiring, chasing in and running new wiring and providing new consumer unit. He showed up to work early and he always worked full-on whilst on site, even coming in on a Saturday to complete the work. The first thing he did was to provide temporary sockets so other workman on site could carry on their work when there was no electricity elsewhere, working as a team with everyone. Another thing which we appreciated about Matt was his sincerity and his willingness discuss ideas and then put these into action. He graciously assisted in double checking stock ordering for fittings and was patient and good humoured throughout his time on site. His workmanship was neat and tidy and professional. His assistant was also well mannered and helpful and will be using them again soon on another project.
